Talladega College sprinter Duffus has been named the HBCUAC Track Athlete of the Week after a standout performance at the Montevallo Falcon Multi Event Classic.
Duffus qualified for the 2026 National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Women's Outdoor Track and Field National Championship in the 200-meter dash with a time of 24.47, surpassing the NAIA 'B' qualifying standard. Competing against a field of 44 athletes, she finished ahead of 43 competitors in the event.
Her mark currently stands as the fastest 200-meter time in the NAIA this season, further solidifying her place among the top sprinters in the nation.
Duffus' national qualifying performance and weekly conference honor continue to highlight the success of Talladega College track and field as the Tornadoes move deeper into the outdoor season.
