Tre’ Adderley Returns for Second Year as Assistant Track & Field and Cross Country Coach at Talladega College

Tre' Adderley is back for his second season as assistant coach for Talladega College's track & field and cross country programs, continuing his work alongside head coach Terry Gator.

A native of The Bahamas, Adderley's journey in athletics began early, and he went on to compete at Benedict College, where he earned his degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. He became a standout athlete in the decathlon, sprints, jumps, and throws, contributing significantly to his team's success.

Adderley's impressive athletic career also saw him represent The Bahamas on the international stage, including at the CARIFTA Games, JR CAC Championships, and the IAAF World Junior Championships.

Now in his second year as a coach, Adderley has already made a noticeable impact. His strong understanding of athlete development and his passion for mentorship have contributed to the growth of the program.

"Having Coach Tre join our program has given us a boost in energy," said head coach Terry Gator. "He was the missing piece of the puzzle. He is very knowledgeable in cross country and track & field. He has hit the ground running with our athletes and is a heck of a recruiter! Very happy he's here."

Adderley echoed the excitement about the program's progress and the opportunity to work alongside Coach Gator.

"I'm blessed to wake up every day and coach next to a great coach in Coach Gaitor," said Adderley. "I'm looking forward to continuing to work with our student-athletes, showing gratitude, and building a successful program both on and off the track. Go Tornadoes!"

With Adderley's return for a second season, Talladega College's track & field and cross country programs are poised to continue their upward trajectory, with a strong focus on athlete development and success on the track.
