DANVILLE, Ala. – The Talladega cross country teams took part in the Warhawk Invitational hosted by Calhoun Community College over the weekend, turning in strong performances across the board. Every Talladega runner who finished picked up a season-best time, giving the Tornadoes momentum heading into the HBCUAC Conference Meet.

Jewel Cross paced the Talladega women with a time of 23:17.5 to set a new season-best, while
Amia Montgomery (26:32.1) was the next Tornado runner to cross the finish. Junior Lamoy Duffus turned in a time of 30:02.4 as the final Talladega competitor in the women's 5K.

Sophomore Decquan Nisbett was Talladega's top finisher in the men's 8K, turning in a season-best mark of 31:54.3. The next Talladega runner across the finish line was Isiah Millet (career-best 33:26.3), with Jason Ivey II (39:19.6) following behind Millet.
Anthony Gentles rounded out the team's finishers, doing so with a time of 43:42.9.
