The Talladega Men's Track and Field team took home second at the 2024 GCAC Track and Field Championship with 160 team points.

The Tornadoes had three first-place finishes on Day 2, starting with
Emmanuel Niang winning the 110m Hurdles. Jaylen Haynes then won the Shot Put and the quartet of Michael Willis,
Nastario Williams,
Jaedon Chambers, and
Jonathan Meadows won the 4x100m Relay.

The three wins were part of 8 top-three podium finishes on the day for Talladega. Chambers added a second second-place finish in the 100m, before Decquan Nisbett took third place in the 800m run. Stephon May proved again to be one of the best jumpers in the GCAC, clearing 1.88m for second in the High Jump, setting the table for the Tornadoes' best event of the day, Shot Put. Haynes, Danrick Robinson, and Eusebio Herandez finished first, second, and third, with throws within .36 meters of each other, to own the podium of the event.
