Fernandez Named to All-Tournament Team

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – After turning in three solid outings for Talladega College baseball during the Southern States Athletic Conference Championship, Darlin Fernandez earned All-Tournament honors as announced after the event.
 
Fernandez, a native of Bonao, Dominican Republic, finished the tournament run 5-for-11, which was good for a .455 batting average. The outfielder posted all four of his RBIs with one swing thanks to a grand slam in a losing effort against Mobile on May 4. 
 
The speedster also posted five stolen bases, scored three runs and patiently secured a pair of walks.
