Determined to turn their season around, the home squad aimed to reclaim momentum, but the visitors had other plans, ultimately securing a 5–1 victory over the Tornadoes. From the opening whistle, Blue Mountain University struck quickly against the Tornadoes as they blasted the game's opening goal just 1:34 into play. The Tornadoes' defense struggled to respond, and at 12:50, the blues extended Blue Mountain's lead with a composed finish.
