The Talladega College JV Men's Basketball team secured their first victory of the season with an impressive 84-61 win over Christian Community College. The win evens their record at 1-1 under Head Coach TeeJay Wilson.
Leading the Tornadoes' offensive attack was Amarion Bowens, who delivered a standout performance with 24 points, two blocks, and three steals. Kerrick Rideau added 14 points, while Trenton Smith contributed 11 points, helping to power Talladega to the commanding win.
Coach Wilson praised his team's effort and confidence after the game, saying, "They played hard, and they were some shooting machines tonight."
The Tornadoes will look to build on this momentum when they hit the road Monday to face Snead State Community College.
