TALLADEGA, Ala. – Playing for just the second time at home this season, the Talladega College women's soccer team did not earn the desired outcome as the Tornadoes fell 12-0 to the Faulkner University Eagles Saturday evening in Southern States Athletic Conference action.
Talladega (0-2, 0-1 SSAC) received another tough effort from Monet Brown who finished with15 saves against 27 shots on goal.
Nicole Montoute and Gabrielle Cox both earned a shot on goal to lead the young Tornado attack.
Remmie Ferla and Alessia Confalonieri both recorded a hat trick to lead Faulkner to 7-2-1 overall record and a 2-0 SSAC mark.
Talladega College will look to put this loss behind them and focus on another SSAC home contest on Oct. 8 against Blue Mountain College. Match time is scheduled for 1 p.m.
