Talladega, Ala. – Talladega College women's soccer continued its impressive conference run Wednesday afternoon, overpowering Tougaloo College in a 20-0 road victory at Titan Stadium.
The Tornadoes, who earned their second consecutive conference win, wasted no time setting the tone. Junior forward Shamya Daniel and senior striker Annalisa Vincent combined for 14 of Talladega's goals in what became one of the most dominant offensive performances in program history.
Daniel led the charge with eight goals and one assist, while Vincent followed closely with six goals and one assist. Junior Cycolah Wattley notched a hat trick with three goals, and Gabrielle Bryan, Mikayla Stutts, and Amelia Tiggs each added one goal. Bryan and Stutts also tallied an assist apiece.
The Tornadoes controlled every aspect of the match, outshooting Tougaloo 38-1, including 27 shots on goal. They scored ten goals in each half and never allowed the Bulldogs to find an offensive rhythm.
Goalkeeper Alyssa Thompson recorded the shutout, facing just one shot while the Talladega defense held Tougaloo scoreless throughout the 70-minute contest.
With the win, the Tornadoes improved to 4-4 overall and 2-0 in conference play, continuing to build momentum as they push deeper into the season. Talladega has three games remaining on its regular-season schedule, with two of those matchups coming against conference opponents.
