The Talladega College women's soccer team delivered an offensive explosion Thursday afternoon, scoring 15 unanswered goals to roll past Andrew College, 15-1, in Cuthbert, Georgia.

Andrew College struck first just five minutes into the contest, but the early deficit did little to slow the Tornadoes. Talladega responded just 84 seconds later when Annalisa Vincent found the back of the net off an assist from Jakayla Stutts, tying the match at 1-1. From there, the Tornadoes took complete control.

Talladega erupted for 10 first-half goals while firing 25 shots before the break. The Tornadoes added five more goals in the second half to finish the afternoon with 36 total shots, including 29 shots on goal. Andrew College was limited to seven shots and four attempts on goal.

The Talladega attack was led by a trio of four-goal performances.

Cycoiah Wattley finished with four goals and two assists on five shots, all of which were on target. Annalisa Vincent added four goals and three assists while placing five of her six shots on goal. Shamaya Damiels also recorded four goals, including the game-winning score, while adding an assist and producing a team-high eight shots.

Mikayla Stutts added two goals for the Tornadoes, while Jahmiyah McIntyre also found the back of the net. Amelia Tiggs contributed three assists, and Jakayla Stutts recorded three assists to help fuel Talladega's offensive attack.

After Andrew College took its 1-0 lead, Talladega answered quickly. Vincent and Damiels scored at the 6:24 mark, followed by Wattley at 7:18 as the Tornadoes surged ahead 3-1. Damiels added another goal at 9:45 before Wattley and Damiels struck again less than a minute apart to extend the advantage to 6-1 just over 13 minutes into the match.

Talladega continued applying pressure throughout the opening half. Wattley completed another scoring opportunity at 19:45, McIntyre scored at 23:50, Mikayla Stutts found the net at 32:34, and Vincent closed the first-half scoring at 38:36 to send the Tornadoes into halftime with a commanding 10-1 advantage.

The Tornadoes remained in control after halftime. Wattley scored at 65:58 before Vincent struck twice in a span of 38 seconds at 69:42 and 70:20. Damiels added Talladega's 14th goal at 83:26, and Mikayla Stutts completed the scoring at 84:58 off an assist from Tiggs.

Defensively, goalkeeper Javanae Jones played all 90 minutes and recorded three saves while allowing just the one early goal. Talladega's defense held Andrew College scoreless for the final 85 minutes of action.

The dominant performance showcased Talladega's ability to create opportunities across the field, with five different Tornadoes scoring and five players recording at least one assist.

Talladega College will look to carry the offensive momentum into its next contest.
