The Talladega College women's soccer team showed heart and determination in their matchup against the University of Mobile on Thursday evening. Playing in front of a lively crowd at The Jungle, the Tornadoes battled hard from the opening whistle and refused to back down against one of the strongest programs in the conference.

Mobile struck first in the 21st minute, but Talladega quickly answered when Annalisa Vincent found the back of the net to level the score. The Rams regained the lead shortly after, yet Vincent struck again with her second goal of the half to bring Talladega even once more. Mobile managed to score just before halftime, sending the Tornadoes into the break trailing 3–2.

In the second half, Mobile extended its advantage with two early goals, but Talladega kept fighting as Amelia Tiggs netted a goal in the 55th minute to keep the Tornadoes within striking distance. Despite the Rams adding two more late scores, Talladega continued to push forward, showing flashes of strong attacking play and a relentless competitive spirit throughout the match.

The game finished 7–3 in Mobile's favor, but the Tornadoes earned respect with their effort, grit, and offensive highlights. Vincent's two goals and Tiggs' second-half strike stood out as proof of Talladega's growing firepower on the attack. They fought hard against a team which has a victorious record but Talladega will be back on Friday, September 12th, at Talladega College. Come out and support!
