MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Talladega College women's volleyball team battled hard but fell in three sets in a Southern States Athletic Conference matchup with Faulkner University Saturday afternoon in Tine Davis Gymnasium.
The third consecutive loss drops the Tornadoes to under .500 for the first time this season with an 8-9 record overall and a 2-6 mark in conference competition. Meanwhile, Faulkner (25-14, 25-17, 25-16) improves to 16-6 on the season and 6-2 in the SSAC.
Kenya Glenn finished the as the only Tornado with double-digit digs with 13 on the day.

Mia Sterling, Sanders and Gates all finished with a block assist each on the front row.
Molly Presnell led the way for Faulkner with 14 kills while Alyssa Stagner passed 22 assists.
As a team, the Eagles posted a .312 attack percentage while Talladega was limited to a .067 attack percentage.
After a week on the road, the Tornadoes return to home for a mid-week SSAC match against Middle Georgia State College. The contest in the Dr. Hawkins Student Activity Center is set for a 6 p.m. CDT start.
