BIRMINGHAM, AL -  For the first time in school history, Talladega men's and women's track and field teams competed on the indoor track and field stage.

The Tornadoes competed at the Samford Open hosted by Samford University. It was a strong showing for the Tornadoes who were able to finish the day with several top-finishes against 28 other schools that included D1, D2, NAIA, and Junior College teams from across the country. The Tornadoes will return to action on February 7th at the (SSAC) Southern States Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championship.
