Four players garnered Appalachian Athletic Conference postseason awards for the Talladega College men's volleyball team this season.
Nkoya Williams-Bailey was named First Team All-Conference, while teammates
Love-let Blake,
Mallik Foreman, and
Denzel Pepper were named to the AAC Second Team.
Talladega as a team finished the year with an 8-7 overall record, while going 6-7 in the conference. The Tornadoes opened up the AAC Men's Volleyball Championship tonight at 6:30 pm against Bluefield University (Va.).
Williams-Bailey, this season, led Talladega in offense with 130 kills, 305 total attacks, 156.5 points, 3.6 points per set, and 43 sets in 12 conference matches played. In conference action only, his kills and total attacks both ranked ninth in the AAC. The sophomore had nine matches with 10 or more kills, with a season high of 15 kills back on March 11 against Life University. Talladega as a team won every match but one, where he tallied 10 or more kills. He closed out the final three matches of the regular since with double-digits in kills while finishing with a hitting percentage of .368 in those matches to help the team post a 3-0 mark to end the season.
Blake was the only freshman out of the four Talladega players to earn All-Conference honors. He led the team in aces with 14 while finishing third in kills with 85. The 14 aces placed him in the top 20 in the conference. Blake's five-block solos this season tied him for first on the squad. He finished with a match-high .435 hitting percentage back on April 4 against Truett McConnell. His performance in the final two regular season matches, the Tornadoes were 2-0, where he finished 26 kills combined for the matches.
Foreman, who was 1 of 3 sophomores from Talladega to be recognized by the AAC this year. He finished with 41 conference sets played in 2025 for the second most on the team, while finishing with 98 kills overall, and 92 of them coming in conference matches. The sophomore was second in conference matches and on the team with 55 digs. He tallied nine aces, which was good enough to be fourth on the squad, with two matches where he recorded two aces this season. His performance offensively during the season contributed to 113 points in conference action.
The final Tornado to garner recognition is Pepper, who was 1 of 6 players to play in 12 conference matches. The sophomore was first in the conference in block assists with 41 and blocks per set with 45. Against Truett McConnell back on April 4 he tallied eight block assists for a season-best, breaking his previous season-best of seven that he set on March 1 against Reinhardt.
