The Talladega College women's basketball team put together one of its strongest performances of the season Monday night, securing a 60–51 road victory over NCAA Division II opponent University of Montevallo. From the opening tip, the Lady Tornadoes displayed discipline, intensity, and a commitment to playing together, qualities that powered them to a signature win for the program.

Talladega's defensive pressure set the tone early. Active hands, smart rotations, and relentless hustle forced Montevallo into 25 turnovers, which the Lady Tornadoes converted into 17 crucial points. Every defensive stop seemed to fuel the offense, creating momentum that carried throughout the game.

The team's depth also shined, with major scoring production coming off the bench. Efficient finishes around the basket, strong mid-range shooting, and several timely second-chance points allowed Talladega to maintain control in key stretches of the contest. A total of 35 bench points highlighted the balance and readiness of the entire roster.

Talladega dominated the boards with 39 rebounds, including 15 offensive rebounds, repeatedly extending possessions and taking advantage of scoring opportunities in the paint.
