Men’s Soccer Drops 2-0 Contest to USC Aiken

TALLADEGA, Ala. – The Talladega College men's soccer team faced stiff competition in the NCAA Division II opponents USC Aiken Pacers and fell short 2-0 to the visitors Saturday evening.
 
USC Aiken used two second half goals to put away the Tornadoes starting with a score from Parks Harris in the 46th minute off an assist from Damian Rogers.
 
Harris followed with another goal, this time assisted by Sebastian Tascon, in the 57th minute to push the tally to the 2-0 final score.
 
Tavar Lawrence and Saeed Charles both posted two shots and a shot on goal to lead Talladega's attack.
 
The Tornadoes took seven shots with three on goal, while the Pacers posted six shots and four SOGs.
 
Ivory Smith played all 90 minutes in the goal and finished with two saves.
 
Talladega College (0-3-1) returns to action tomorrow at 3 p.m. at home against Oakwood University. The matchup was rescheduled from September 8.
