Rafael Diaz's two-run homer to make it 2-1 before the inning ended.
The Bucs in the bottom of the third plated three runs on two hits to retake the lead and go up 4-2 but the lead didn't last long as the Tornadoes tied the game in the top of the fourth at 4-4 and then reclaimed the lead 6-4 in the top of the fifth.

With nine outs to go, the Tornadoes got to work in the bottom of the seventh when
Miguel Oropeza started the frame by being hit by the pitch. He later scored off Jose Santigo's RBI double down the left-field line to tie the game at seven. Santigo was able to take third on the throw home. With a runner on third and no one out,
Evan Baker walked to put runners on the corners. Santigo scored from third to put the Tornadoes up 8-7 when
Jaylen Mateo singled down the left-field line. Baker took third on the play. Talladega looked to add some insurance but a strikeout and a double play ended the threat.
After both teams produced a scoreless eighth inning, Talladega took its one-run lead into the bottom of the ninth that saw the Bucs rally using a pair of walks, a hit batter, and a single to score a pair of runs and pick up a 9-8 win.
