Women’s Soccer Earns Shutout Win over Wiley

FLOWOOD, Miss. – The Talladega College women's soccer team traveled to Liberty Park Field for a neutral site, Continental Athletic Conference matchup against Wiley University Wildcats, where the Tornadoes came away with a 2-0 victory Saturday afternoon.
 
Scoring was quiet for both teams until the 40th minute when Hasha Holder smashed a shot into the lower right of the net from 12 yards out for a goal.
 
The 1-0 score held for nearly 40 minutes until Kenya Glenn scored a goal in the 79th minute to push the score to the 2-0 final tally.
 
Talladega (4-6-1) outshot Wiley 20-6 and posted nine shots on goal compared to just one SOG for the Wildcats.
 
Holder posted the team lead for shots (seven) and shots on goal (four) to align with her goal. Jenally Barco posted three shots and a pair of SOGs.
 
Natalie Need posted one save during her 90 minutes in goal for the tornadoes.
