I can't wait for us to start making history together at Talladega!"

At conference, Coach Carey saw three people earn four All-Conference honors in the MIC and three claim five All-America with WCGA.

"I'm so excited and honored to be named the first assistant women's gymnastics coach at Talladega College," stated Carey. "I'm excited to work with Coach Sims-Fletcher and her expertise in the gymnastics world. I'm excited to work alongside her to build a new program and contribute to the legacy and growing popularity of HBCU college women's gymnastics!"

Carey is an active judging member of the nationally recognized NAWGJ organization (National Association for Women's Gymnastics Judges).
