HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - Talladega College was unable to fight back from a 12-0 deficit early in a 71-46 Gulf Coast Athletic Conference loss at Oakwood University on Saturday evening. 

Alexia McMillian led Talladega with eight points. Arieonna Booker and Meadow Gillispie each had six points. 

The Tornadoes were held to 34.6% shooting in the loss, while Oakwood shot 51% from the floor, including 60% beyond the 3-point arc. 

Talladega (3-4, 1-2 GCAC) will return to action Monday, Dec. 11 at home against Fisk University at 5:30 p.m.
