Men’s Soccer Powers by Wiley, 10-0

TALLADEGA, Ala. – The Talladega College men's soccer team scored early and often on the way to a dominant 10-0 victory over the Wiley College Wildcats Friday night.

Renato Itamouna started the scoring just past eight minutes with an assist from Tavar Lawrence.

Lawrence had a terrific night with four total goals, including three consecutive goals to push Talladega College ahead 4-0 only 26:19 into the match.

The Tornadoes added two more goals before half thanks to a score by Joel Wilson with a helper from Keishawn Delevante. Romario Tomlinson found the back of the net with Lawerence's assist, giving Dega a 6-0 lead heading into the break.

In the second half, Jose Atong scored at the 53:54 mark with an assist from Temsyn Tezera, and Christopher Syms blasted a shot through the net with an assist from Lawrence two minutes later.

Lawrence posted his fourth score of the night at the 73:08 mark with an assist by Tomlinson. Dega added a team goal in the final minutes on the way to the 10-0 win over Wiley.

The Tornadoes have some time off before preparing to face Florida College in Temple Terrace, Florida on Oct. 14 at 5 p.m.
