Tornadoes Drop Home Match to GSW

TALLADEGA, Ala. – The Talladega College women's soccer team played hosts to NCAA Division II opponent Georgia Southwestern State, but the Tornadoes fell 4-0 Wednesday evening.
 
Siara Moore scored the only goal of the first half at the 7:14 mark but was far from done for the day. 
 
Moore found the back of the net just over 62 minutes passed and assisted on a goal by Krystal Elie just over three minutes later. Teresa Rodriguez capped the scoring at the 84:31 mark to deliver the 4-0 win for GSW.
 
Annalisa Vincent posted six goals to lead the attack with one on goal. Autumn Wyatt and Jenally Barco also registered shots on goal.
 
Natalie Nedd spent the whole match in the net and came away with three saves for the Tornadoes. 
 
Moore and Rodriguez both registered three shots to lead the GSW offensive effort. Alana Beddow posted three saves.
 
The Tornadoes return to action at 2 p.m. tomorrow against University of South Carolina Beaufort at home.
