Talladega AL- Talladega College golf team placed second place in the Lemoyne-Owen Invitational at the Tunica National Golf Club in Tunica, MS on March 24, 2015

Play was completed in the Lemoyne-Owen Invitational at the Tunica National Golf Club in Tunica, MS on March 24, 2015.  The team competition was won by Spring Hill College with the Tornadoes finishing in second place ahead of NCAA Division I and II opponents, Benedict College, UAPB, Alcorn St., Alabama A & M, Lemoyne-Owen, Miles College, and Mississippi Valley.

For the Swinging Tornadoes the top finisher was Maram Macham shooting 71-77 for a third place finish, Craig Whatley II finished in sixth shooting 77-74.  Drake Mosley also finished in the top 20 with rounds of 84-79.  Clinton Nickerson finished in 21st place.  The Tornadoes had Maram Macham, Craig Whatley II, and Drake Mosley to finish on the all tournament team.

The Tornadoes will tee it up again at the Alabama A & M Golf Classic next week
