The Talladega College men's basketball team delivered a strong all-around performance on Saturday afternoon, defeating Fisk University 104–77 in conference action during the Ben Jobe Classic.
Talladega jumped out to an early advantage and carried a 51–36 lead into halftime before continuing to apply pressure in the second half, outscoring Fisk 53–41 to secure the decisive win.
The Tornadoes showcased balanced scoring throughout the lineup, with Arthur Williams leading the way with 16 points and three rebounds. Treyon Delmore added 14 points and two rebounds, while Tre Simmons finished with 13 points.
Michael Kinnard contributed 11 points and four rebounds, and Shaun Walker posted 10 points and a team-high seven rebounds. William Ehlen chipped in nine points, while Derek Burditt added eight points and five rebounds.
Talladega controlled the tempo of the game, moving the ball efficiently and converting scoring opportunities to build a lead that reached as many as 29 points in the second half.
The win marked another strong conference performance for the Tornadoes and served as a fitting showing during the Ben Jobe Classic, honoring the legacy of the legendary coach who helped bring basketball back to Talladega College.
