The Talladega College Lady Tornadoes earned a strong 63–50 win over Life University on Wednesday night in the Billy C. Hawkins Student Activity Center. After a slow start, Talladega found its rhythm and took control of the game in the second half.
Trailing 26–25 at halftime, the Lady Tornadoes came out energized in the third quarter, scoring 25 points and creating separation with tough defense and fast-break opportunities. From there, Talladega maintained its lead and closed out the game with solid free-throw shooting and steady play.
Ceara Myers led the way with a double-double of 15 points and 11 rebounds. Kameron Jones added 12 points and five steals, and Olympia Chaney scored nine points. Talladega's bench made a big impact, contributing 33 points in the win.
Defensively, Talladega forced 25 turnovers and limited Life University's offense throughout the night.
The Lady Tornadoes will now break for the holidays and return to action on Monday, January 5, at home against Point University.
