Box Score The Talladega College Lady Tornadoes delivered an electrifying Homecoming performance, rallying in the fourth quarter to defeat Philander Smith (AR) 62–61 in front of an energetic home crowd inside the Billy Hawkins Student Activity Center.
The atmosphere was electric as fans, alumni, and students filled the stands to witness one of the most intense games of the season. After trailing through much of the first half, Talladega erupted for 28 points in the final quarter, sealing a dramatic comeback victory and capping off Homecoming week in style.
Leading the charge for the Lady Tornadoes was Ceara Myers, who scored 14 points, grabbed four rebounds, and added four assists. Courtney Lowe came up clutch down the stretch, dropping 11 points, all in the fourth quarter, including three key three-pointers that ignited the crowd and swung the momentum back in Talladega's favor.
Kiersten Usher contributed 10 points and three rebounds, showing her trademark energy on both ends of the court. Camille Files and Teanna Watts added valuable minutes, combining for 11 points and six assists, helping Talladega stay composed during tense moments. The Lady Tornadoes also tallied 13 steals and 14 assists as a team, showing their defensive intensity and unselfish play.
Despite a tough battle from Philander Smith's Miracle Thomas, who scored 17 points and grabbed nine rebounds, Talladega's late surge and defensive resilience proved too much for the Panthers to overcome.
