Men’s Soccer Drops Semifinal Match to Bellevue

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – The Talladega College men's soccer team fell 4-0 in the Continental Athletic Conference Championships semifinals the Bellevue University Bruins Monday afternoon at the Grizzly Soccer Complex.
 
Kyi Nicholson scored goals in the 7th and 24th minutes to push the Bruins to a 2-0 lead which stood through the halftime break.
 
Edwin Cisneros connected on his sixth of the season in the 58th and Kevin Becerril posed a goal in the 80th to conclude scoring in the 4-0 win to advance to the CAC finals.
 
Bellevue outshot the Tornadoes 19-5 and outpaced Dega in shots on goal, 15-1.
 
Tavar Lawrence posted a pair of shots, while Christopher Syms posted an SOG.
 
Ivory Smith spent most of the match in goal and came away with 10 saves, and Leonard Richardson recorded a save in nearly six minutes of action.
 
Talladega College wraps the season with a 4-6-4 record.
